Aerial photography by drones is more affordable than ever before and environmentally friendly, by been able to hover high above or close to the scene we are able to capture better quality photographs than standard aerial photographers using higher flying aircraft.
Unlike many other operators we are qualified professional freelance photographers with years of experience. Not only do we know how to fly a drone, more importantly we know exactly how to compose the image correctly with the correct aperture, shutter speed and ISO, all of which is controlled from the ground as we have complete control over the camera from the ground.
We can fly our drones to an altitude of 400ft and up to 500 meters from where the pilot is stood.
Our aerial photography is produced for a wide variety of clients and environments, such as large estates, construction, renovation, farms, building developments to show progress, corporate promotions, archaeology, roof inspections, architectural surveys or simply just that family portrait with a difference.
Aerial Photography Drones and Post Production
Our drones use the latest technology, they are able to shoot 20 megapixel high resolution still images, we control the aperture, ISO, shutter speeds from the ground control unit, the 3 axis stabilisation technology inside the gimbal communicates constantly with the aircraft. Basically we have a flying DSLR camera. The powerful brushless motors instantly respond to every minor movement to keep the camera level, even when capturing long exposure allowing us to focus on what we want to shoot.
We will always shoot images in RAW format as this providers a fair superior and high dynamic range that JPEG format. All images are fully edited post production in industry leading photography software to ensure you delighted with the images. Unlike a number of our competitors we do not simply provide you with JPEG images directly from the drone, we deliver a professional end to end service for all of our clients.
You most probably have heard or read recently in the media about about unlicensed, unapproved drone operators that work without insurance or due care and attention; employing one of these companies is dangerous and potentially illegal. All UK drone pilots must have a NQE Qualification from a company approved by the Civil Aviation Authority to train drone pilots, have a valid and current PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operations) from the Civil Aviation Authority for Aerial Work along with Public Liability insurance. Protect yourself and ask the operator if you are unsure, any approved operator will be happy to show you his PfCO along with valid insurance documents. We always are.
